Throughout my design process the primary goal is to understand and articulate my clients' ideas and aspirations for their landscape.

We do this together as client and designer by starting with an initial meeting at the client's home where we engage in a series of conversations so I can assess the clients' primary objectives and concerns; we walk the property to evaluate existing conditions and do a thorough review of my portfolio so the client may get a feel for my design style.

After the initial meeting, if we decide to proceed, I will prepare a design budget and contract uniquely tailored to the individual client's project and scope of work. The contract will clearly spell out all cost and payment schedules.

The focus of my design process is to understand the clients' needs and wishes, to translate these into a comprehensive design that successfully addresses these issues thus creating a beautiful and functional landscape.
